“We earned another fourth-place finish. It wasn’t easy, but I have to thank these guys on the Orleans Dodge team. Charlie Wilson, Steve Hibbard and everyone at Dodge did a great job to get us another top-five finish. We had a slow start to the season, but that has definitely started to turn around. We still have things to work on, but we are headed in the right direction. We had some trouble with the engine this morning. The guys worked hard to change the engine before the race. They made it look easy. The Kroyer Racing Engines power worked well today. We had to start at the back because of the engine change, but it just made it that much more challenging to get to the front. Then we were involved in a spin. A fan gave me a lucky charm at our autograph session today. I think it worked because I didn’t get any major damage in the spin. And we had a good points day. We need those. I’m going to enjoy my 4th of July holiday tomorrow and then started thinking about Kentucky. I’m looking forward to going there, especially coming off two fourth-place finishes. Wyler’s dealerships are there, so we really want to get our first win of the season next weekend.”
