LAS VEGAS , Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 – The following pre-race notes, quotes and statistics are for Steve Park , driver of the No. 62 Orleans Dodge in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, prior to the Darlington 200 at Darlington Raceway Nov. 12.

PRE-RACE NOTES:

Park has 15 starts at Darlington Raceway, 10 in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and five in the NASCAR Busch Series. This will be Park's first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Darlington .

Park's best finish at Darlington was second in March 2001 in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.

This will be the third start for Orleans Racing at Darlington and the 81st NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start for the team.

Park is 10th in points. His finishes this season are: 27 th in Daytona, 12 th in Atlanta, 26th in Martinsville, 27th in Mansfield, 12 th in Charlotte, 13 th in Dover, 10 th at Texas, 11 th at Memphis, fourth at Milwaukee, fourth at Kansas, sixth at Kentucky, 31st at Gateway, 17 th at Michigan, 22nd at Indy, fifth at Nashville, ninth at Bristol, 12 th at Richmond, 14 th at Loudon, third at Las Vegas, eighth at Fontana, 12 th at Texas, 23 rd at Martinsville and sixth at Phoenix.

Park has four top fives and nine top 10s this season. The team is still looking for its first win in 2004.

Park will sign autographs at the Big Johnson merchandise trailer at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12.

PRE-RACE QUOTES FROM STEVE PARK: “I'm really looking forward to going to Darlington . I love the track. I love racing there. There are some guys that maybe don't have the experience at Darlington in the Craftsman Trucks and are going to find it very challenging. Racing there in the past in the car just makes me look forward to it. Since I have 15 starts at the track it won't take me as much time to get used to it as some of the rookies or newer drivers who haven't been there as much.”
