LAS VEGAS, Tuesday, July 27, 2004 The following pre-race notes, quotes and statistics are for Steve Park, driver of the No. 62 Orleans Dodge in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, prior to the Line-X Spray-On Truck Bedliners 200 at Michigan International Speedway July 31.

Orleans Racing won this event last year with Brendan Gaughan driving.

Steve Park has one win at Michigan. It came in 1998 in the NASCAR Busch Series.

The primary Dodge for Michigan is the 10 truck. It is the same truck Park drove at Dover at Charlotte .

Park will sign autographs July 31 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Michigan International Speedway behind the main grandstand near Gate 24.

This will be Park's 13th start at Michigan. He has one start in the NASCAR Busch Series at Michigan and 11 in a NEXTEL Cup car. This will be his first Craftsman Truck Series start at Michigan. This will be the third start for Orleans Racing at Michigan and the 70th Craftsman Truck Series start for the team.

Park is 14th in points after 12 races. He finished 27th in Daytona, 12th in Atlanta, 26th in Martinsville, 27th in Mansfield, 12th in Charlotte, 13th in Dover, 10th at Texas, 11th at Memphis, fourth at Milwaukee, fourth at Kansas, sixth at Kentucky and 31st at Gateway.

PRE-RACE QUOTE FROM STEVE PARK: I like Michigan . We had a really good run there last year with RCR in the NEXTEL Cup car. It is a fast racetrack. It is really wide and is good for passing. It usually produces a good three-wide race for the fans. This is one of those racetracks that I've competed on in cars but never trucks, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the Craftsman Trucks race there."
